At this second annual fundraising banquet several models competed and Miss Africa-USA CA, Rachel Temu crowned Grace Haukwa of Kenyan descent as "THE FACE OF FOADAC" becoming the first Spokemodel for the orphans at FOADAC. Grace also holds other titles/crowns to name a few, CEO/ Founder Nabtry International Cultural Dancers, Reggae Dancehall Queen 2006, Carib Fashions IRAWMA Top Models USA, Miss Africa-USA California Kenya 2007
The beautiful model and entrepreneur Grace Haukwa has used her fame and crowns to benefit not only her people but the public as well. Grace's goal as the ambassador of FOADAC is to Create awareness of the FOADAC Mission and to raise money to give back to the charity FOADAC.org through educating, hosting cultural meetings, seminars and special events: In the true spirit of a queen, Grace is currently planning to visit and donate daily necessities to the orphan homes in Africa primarily in Kenya, Cameroon, Tanzania, Congo, Uganda and Nigeria while educating and helping fight against poverty on the African continent. Then she will plan a tour to other Orphan homes in African countries as well as Worldwide. .
The Foundation for Orphaned, Abandoned and Disabled African Children (FOADAC) is a non-profit organization founded by African sisters living in America. FOADAC's mission is to give love in a home for children who lost their parents from HIV/AIDS or neglected due to a childhood disability. Providing direct support, care and accommodation to Africa's most vulnerable children is our main focus. Our goal is to partner with as many Americans, Africans, individual organizations as well as government and corporate bodies to build a strong and dynamic resource to restore the future of these orphans.
